Despite the poor weather we’ve still managed to keep on top of our smaller landscaping projects including this dry stone wall that we built in Hook Norton, Oxfordshire last week. Deceptively simple in appearance drystone walls are both time consuming and quite difficult to build. Half the battle is having a good supplier for the stone and we are fortunate to have several locally who we can rely on for  quality.

The next phase of the project is to resurface the drive and repair the tarmac between the road and the wall. the picture shows the area before washing down so it’s hard to see where the tarmac ends suffice to say that the area was green before we started the wall!
